Voor degene die niet weten wat J2ME is:

Java 2 Micro Edition is een variant van het Java platform, oorspronkelijk gedefinieerd door Sun 
Microsystems. De veel gebruikte afkorting is J2ME. Het is het 'kleinere broertje' van de Java 2 
Standard Edition (J2SE), dat vooral op desktop-computers en servers gebruikt wordt.

Java 2 Micro Edition richt zich op computers met beperkte capaciteit, hoofdzakelijk mobiele telefoons 
en PDA's, maar ook allerlei andere embedded systemen. De meegeleverde standaard-bibliotheken zijn een 
subset van de Java 2 Standard Edition bibliotheken, aangevuld met enkele onderwerpen die specifiek van 
belang zijn in de bedoelde omgevingen.

Ik heb dus geprobeerd om een "HelloWorld" Java applicatie te schrijven voor de G502 Sony Ericsson. Ik heb er toch redelijk wat tijd mogen in steken om het allemaal uit te pluizen. Je kan hier mijn bevindingen lezen.
